Liverpool’s Spanish international player Fernando Torres said that Spain’s rank as one of the most-likely team to win the World Cup 2010 could end up hurting the squad’s chances.

He told reporters that they have good players who have played harmoniously for three or four years now. He added that if they miss this chance to win the World Cup, it is possible that they will not have a second opportunity. The pressure is enormous.

Earlier, the team was ranked as the number one team in the year-end FIFA standings for the second successive year, which made them the only team in the history to ever grab the top spot in the ranking even without winning a World Cup.
