Spain to train British Cycling Team

Team Sky, the British Cycling team, reached Spain to prepare for this month’s Tour Down Under.

While talking to reporters, team Principal Dave Brailsford said, “We were very keen to get a location where we'd get good weather. The important thing is everybody got out on a bike today. You can do as much team building in hotels as you want, but where it really gels is on the bike.”

Moreover, the team’s main goal is to win a Grand Tour and Brailsford, insists Bradley Wiggins is the rider to fulfill that dream.

Further, Mr. Dave added that absolutely they want a British winner of the Tour de France within five years.

He also said, “If you get involved in elite sport you have to try and win the biggest events. That comes with the territory. It's definitely possible that we can win the Tour de France. These are high- class riders we have on the team.”

During a press conference, Dave told media, “I think Bradley has it in him to win, there wasn't a huge margin between him and the podium last year when he finished fourth.”

Further, he said that they have to be more ambitious and establish their targets high.
